Your saved posts
Everything you save lands at app.sortfeed.com, a page that's yours alone. Organize it, search it, and send it on as a file or a link.
Opening your saved posts
Click View saved on any save message, or go to app.sortfeed.com and sign in with your Sort Feed account. It shows up once you've saved your first post.
It's a website rather than part of the extension, so it opens on any computer you sign in on, with or without Sort Feed installed.
Finding your way around
The left side lists four views. All posts is everything, newest save first. Collections holds the sets you've made. Profiles groups posts by creator, so every reel you've saved from one account sits together. Platforms groups them by where they came from, which is Instagram for now.
Each post shows the creator and its headline number, views on video and likes on photos. A post that beat its creator's usual numbers carries its outlier multiple in the corner, the same as on a sorted grid.
Search, sort and filter
Search looks through creators, captions, notes, transcripts, tags and collection names at once, so a phrase you remember from a hook is usually enough to find the post.
Sort orders the grid by when you saved, by views, likes or comments, or by when the post was published. Filters narrows it by post type, platform and when you saved it.
A post up close
Click a post to open it. The video or photos sit on the left, and the right holds the details: the numbers when you saved, the caption, the transcript once you've run one, its collections and tags, and your notes.
The arrow keys move to the next and previous post in the grid's order, and Space plays and pauses a video.
Collections, tags and notes
Collections are sets you name, such as Hooks to try or Client A. Create one, add posts to it, rename it or delete it. A post can sit in as many collections as you like, and deleting a collection keeps its posts.
Tags cut across collections. Tag a post with a format or a theme and search finds every post with that tag, whichever collection it's in.
Notes are for why you saved something. Write in the post's Notes box and it's kept as you type.
Collections are made here rather than in the extension. On Instagram you only save; sorting it all out happens on the web, where you can see everything at once.
Working with many posts
Click Select, tick the posts you want, or Select all, and a bar at the bottom works on the whole selection: add to a collection, add tags, download, export, transcribe or remove.
Download, export and transcribe
- Download saves the video or photos from Sort Feed's own copy, so it works even after Instagram's link has expired. Several posts come back as one zip. Downloading media covers file names.
- Export offers Google Sheets, Excel, CSV and JSON, with the usual post columns: Profile, Post, Create Date, Likes, Comments, Views, Shares, Saves and Caption, plus Transcript when you have one. Tags and notes stay out of the file. Exporting your data covers each format.
- Transcribe turns a saved video into text and keeps it with the post, where search can find it. It needs Pro, like every transcript. Transcribing videos has the rest.
Sharing a link
A post, a collection, a creator's saved posts or a whole platform can each be shared as a link. Anyone with the link can look, play and open the posts, and nobody but you can change anything. Your notes and tags aren't shown.
A shared collection or creator stays live: posts you add later appear for anyone with the link. Turn a link off from the same share button and it stops working straight away.
Sharing is on every plan, and links made on Pro keep working if you go back to Free.
Removing posts
Remove takes a post out of everything, and the message offers Undo. There's no trash to dig through, so Undo is the way back.
If something went by mistake and the message has gone, email us within a week and we can bring it back. After that, a removed post and its copy are erased for good.
